The reason being that for most of the characters, you definitely tell them apart. I don't usually criticize art, but if I had to score it, it would definitely be 9. ending was a bit obvious, so that's why I gave it only a 9. The fillers could be funny, but they were mostly pretty boring. There are some pretty sudden twists in the story that kept it exciting and fun to watch. The story is a 9 because I've never seen one like it before. Overall, I could only give it a 9/10 because many episodes were boring fillers (don't get me wrong, some fillers were actually pretty funny). The storyline was pretty well-written and the characters were unique. There are many times of extreme laughter, as well as times when tears will fall. Though Zatch adores the toy, he follows Kiyo anyway, bringing the Volcan 300 along for the ride. Zatch does not take this well, and demands to know what he's supposed to do by himself. When Zatch announces that he'll be accompanying Kiyo to school, the teenager is alarmed and yells at Zatch in an attempt to keep the Mamado from following him. At the same time, Zatch shoots off his mouth about Kiyo at school, almost getting them into trouble again. The crook turns back up at the bank to hold it up while Susie is there for a withdrawal. Kiyo ignores the crime, marveling at both the ""kid"" and Blue Book while the guy gets away.
